SILVER LADY is available now and will be FREE this weekend!
SILVER LADY is now available through Amazon in Kindle format, priced at $2.99. But over the Memorial Day weekend, May 25-27, it will be FREE! This book was originally published by Five-Star Expressions in 2007 in hard cover for $26.95. As you can imagine, it sold primarily to libraries. I’m thrilled to be able to offer the book now in e-book format through Amazon Kindle! This is a sensuous historical romance, set in Colorado in the mid-1880s during the silver boom days. I hope you’ll get your FREE copy this weekend! If you like the book, I’d appreciate your posting a review on Amazon.
I’m hard at work on the second novel in the Kiss Me Series. KISS ME, CINDY stars the same Cindy from KISS ME, CHLOE. The setting is the Antiques Weekend in Round Top, Texas, and the surrounding towns, that occurs twice a year. That’s where Cindy will meet Matthew who attends the show looking for a cutting horse saddle. Matthew knows nothing about antiques, and Cindy knows nothing about cutting horses, so finding common ground is a challenge for both of them. An antique bench outside an antiques shop ends up being really important for their budding relationship. I’ll post more information–and the stunning cover designed by Carrie Peters Spencer of Cheeky Covers (Carrie designed the covers for KISS ME, CHLOE and SILVER LADY, too!)–later in the summer, closer to the publication date.
Being able to write, polish, then publish my novels on my own timetable has been a wonderful experience for me. I’m able to get books to my readers much sooner than if I went through a traditional publisher. The big romance publishers are acquiring titles now for 5-6 years from now! That’s a long time to wait for a book from an author you enjoy reading. I’m happy to bring you two novels from the Kiss Me Series this year, along with two of my previously published novels–SILVER LADY, and, coming in July, ASK A SHADOW TO DANCE.
ASK A SHADOW TO DANCE is a sensuous time-travel romance set in Memphis in present day and 1885. It has an intriguing premise! I promise you’ll enjoy this venture into moving from the past to the present and back again all through the story! I can’t wait to show you the new cover for this book, too!
Thanks to those who wrote to tell me how much they enjoyed KISS ME, CHLOE. There’s no greater joy for an author than hearing from readers who enjoyed the book!
I promise more posts will be added to this blog, now that I’ve gotten past several non-writing tasks that took up an enormous amount of my writing time. I never knew coordinating a Job Fair could be so time-consuming! Now, I can focus on writing more romantic stories I hope you’ll love!
